How we deliver to you……our valued Customers
The scenario thus far is:-
You’ve placed your order with Turfandstuff.com and by return you will now also have received an automated return email in acknowledgement of your order……….but what next?
The majority of deliveries are made to any UK mainland address FREE of CHARGE and normally within 7 working days. If you require a more speedy delivery we can offer to deliver to you in 3 working days for an additional £20.00 flat fee.
For deliveries of our Railway Sleepers however, we do charge a standard £60.00 but this does include 3 working day shipping as standard.
Any order of Lawn Turf includes next working day delivery and this service is available on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday of your choice.
From Penzance to Peterhead, Ashford to Aberdeen, and London to Lochinver………we cover all areas as dictated by our Customers requirements.
Our goods are delivered on standard wood pallets via several nationwide pallet networks. This is done through a network of local depots and along with our delivery partners we endeavour to maintain the highest possible levels of Customer care.
We are often called upon to overcome some hurdles which inevitably arise as a result of “local” delivery issues. Our website already contains details of areas where delivery problems are likely to be encountered. For example our drivers struggle to deliver onto gravel drives or grass areas as all of our deliveries are made by tail lift and pallet truck (see below).
We do not use any HIAB/Crane machine.

We welcome you to contact us however to discuss such issues as it is much better that such potential problems are identified at the outset. All deliveries are made on weekdays between 8.00am and 6.00pm with the very occasional delivery outwith this time frame. Should you have a query about any aspect of delivery, please contact our Dedicated Delivery/Tracking team on 01241 433722 where we are always pleased to hear from you.
Concerns at all.........we welcome your call!
Ideally, we make all deliveries to the Kerb or Pavement and as you can see, a large amount of manual handling is involved and by definition, inevitably, problems may well arise. Your local delivery driver will normally call you in advance of him arriving, making it essential that as much contact and site information is passed to us at the time of ordering.
Parked cars, lanes, slopes and loose materials are all issues that crop up from time to time but in some cases these are not insurmountable obstacles and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss such issues beforehand.
Don’t give up hope........if you have a small slope!!!
Remember, we would rather speak to you at the outset about potential delivery problems rather than you thinking that we just won’t be able to overcome your concerns.
If in doubt then give us a shout.........
on our Delivery Hotline 01241 433722.
