Why have we chosen to supply semi-seasoned firewood?

We want to help, in any way possible, to change this as log burning is almost completely carbon neutral (excluding processing and delivery, however oil and gas are delivered too).
We are working with all our partners and suppliers to drop the delivered log price. Unfortunately, one of the large costs for firewood supply companies is stocking and storing logs. The funny thing is that it is actually more efficient for the end user to season the logs. Small, well built piles dry faster than big ones.
It also gets you into the concept and mindset of burning logs, only when they are ready, monitoring and managing your stock to achieve the magical 20% moisture content. If you rely on getting logs just in time, fully seasoned, you will then be tempted to burn them regardless of whether they are ready or not.
