Spent Mushroom Compost 25 x 40L)

Here we have packed our spent mushroom compost into light, 40 litre bags. They weigh appoximately 25Kg so are easily handled.

Spent mushroom compost is made from a once used blend of wheat straw, horse manure, chicken manure and Gypsum.

The blend is sterilised before being inoculated with mushroom spawn. One crop of mushrooms is taken and then the compost is released to the landscape and farming markets.
