Spent Mushroom Compost 15x60L

This is a new product launch, after a very positive trial with our regular customers.

This material is Spent Mushroom Compost that has been re-shredded to make it easier to work. It is much drier and therefore we can put more in the bag (60 Litres compared to the old 40 Litre bag)

They weigh appoximately 25Kg so are easily handled.

Spent mushroom compost is made from a once used blend of wheat straw, horse manure, chicken manure and Gypsum.

The blend is sterilised before being inoculated with mushroom spawn. One crop of mushrooms is taken and then the compost is released to the landscape and farming markets.
